In just a few years, phone cameras have gone from "just alright" to being capable of taking some truly impressive pictures. The most impressive part is that they've done so while the hardware of smartphone cameras has barely changed. Sure, sensors and lenses have improved a little, but the software is what is really behind these high-quality phone cameras.
